Performance matches the marketing
Waited for a proper gale to test the jacket before writing the review. The jacket beat goretex jackets Ive worn in previous storms. Heavy rain in 30knt wind in my open centre console didn’t penetrate the jacket. The hood opening was a little damp but you get that with horizontal rain. Very happy with the design and my purchase.

Perfect just-in-case fishing jacket.
A great quality jacket. 100% stormproof, made with strong/durable material. Packs up very small, making it easy to stash in my fishing day-pack. Highly recommended.

Fiordland tested
Wore this jacket several times on a recent Fiordland hunting expedition. First day on the walk in we experienced the typical soaking wet, thick bush, temperatures were very mild so a sweaty half day walk. Very impressed with breathability and how quick the jacket dried!
Stayed dry when wearing during heavier drizzle and showers, zips aren‚Äôt the waterproof type but i didn‚Äôt experience any leaks. Value for $, weight & packability are good, and stayed dry which was a must. Recommend.
