Decals are sturdy, weatherproof stickers that let you personalise your gear, vehicle, or any flat surface. Made to endure the outdoors, these decals stay intact through rain, sun, and rugged conditions. Simple to apply and built to last, they’re perfect for representing your Desolve passion wherever you go.
1) Prepare the Surface:
Start by cleaning the surface where the decal will go. Use a clean cloth with mild soap and water, or rubbing alcohol, to remove any dirt, oil, dust or old stickers. Make sure the surface is completely dry before you continue.
2) Peel the Backing Paper:
Carefully peel away the backing paper, exposing the adhesive side of the decal. Try not to touch the sticky side with your fingers to keep it clean.
3) Apply the Decal:
Starting from one end, gently press the decal onto the surface, using a squeegee or credit card to smooth it down as you go. Take your time to avoid air bubbles from forming.
4) Smooth Out the Decal:
Once the decal is fully in place, go over it again with your squeegee or card to make sure it’s firmly pressed onto the surface and to remove any air bubbles.
5) Remove the Transfer Tape:
If there’s a clear transfer tape on top, carefully peel it off. Start at one corner and slowly peel back at a 45-degree angle, making sure the decal stays on the surface.
6) Final Touches:
Check for any remaining air bubbles. If you spot any, gently press them out towards the edges using your squeegee or card. If a bubble won’t shift, poke it with a pin and smooth it out.
