Graphic Designer: Marketing

We have a fantastic opportunity for a skilled Graphic Designer who loves the outdoors. We are looking to add a creative mind to our marketing team to design digital and print collateral across a variety of channels and platforms.

Evolve Outdoors Group designs and develops the world’s leading hunting and fishing gear for New Zealand’s harshest environments.  We are based in Wellington, New Zealand and sell our products throughout the world. Our key brands are Desolve and Hunters Element.

About the role: 

We are looking for a talented Graphic Designer to join the marketing team at our head office in Wellington, New Zealand. They will be the ‘go-to’ Graphic Designer for the Desolve brand, reporting to the Brand Manager, playing an integral role in creating designs across various media, helping to maintain brand consistency and contributing to the evolution of our brand’s identity. 

Key responsibilities: 

Develop creative concepts and design solutions for various digital and print projects, ensuring they align with the brand goals and target audience.   

Create visually appealing imagery and layouts for digital media including website asset creation and UX, email marketing campaigns and digital advertising.   

Create print-ready imagery and layouts for catalogues, print advertising and in-store collateral. 

Edit and retouch images as required to meet design requirements. 

Review designs for accuracy, consistency, quality and adherence to brand guidelines.  

Day to day collaboration with key team members including the Marketing Manager, Brand Manager, Marketing Assistant, Videographers etc. 

Skills/Qualifications:  

Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field. 

Highly proficient in the Adobe Suite. 

Engaged and creative thinker, with a marketer's perspective in brand activation and direct response marketing. 

Thrives in dynamic, fast-paced environments. 

Demonstrates great initiative by proactively generating ideas. 

Effective communicator with a proven ability to work autonomously. 

Attention to detail and asset organization. 

Strong time management skills with a solutions-oriented mindset. 

Proficient in adhering to brand guidelines.
